Covering a huge urban area with a dome would ensure inside a constant and comfortable temperature by using natural ventilation and a passive cooling system. This allows us to recreate a natural microclimate, trees, vegetation, terraces, open spaces and to offer the citizen a living place in which he doesn’t feel separate from the outside.
The dome used together with an underground square and chimneys for ventilation creates favourable conditions even for tall buildings providing enormous improvements in energy efficiency.
